Сводно-экономическая балансовая таблица, показатели которой дают возможность статистически оценить влияние на состояние национальной экономики внешнеторговых сделок и международных финансовых операций. Информационной основой для ведомости платежного баланса служат отчетные данные о затратах на товары и услуги, полученные от других стран, и выручки от их продажи за рубежом, а также сведения о финансовых требованиях и обязательствах в отношении других государств. Согласно условиям системы учета кредитовые проводки по экспортируемым реальным ресурсам и финансовым средствам отражают либо процесс сокращения заграничных активов, либо прирост внешней задолженности национального хозяйства. Напротив, дебетовые проводки по импортируемым финансовым средствам отражают либо прирост массы активов, либо уменьшение задолженности. Другими словами, положительный показатель (кредит) соответствует уменьшению массы активов (реальных или финансовых), а отрицательный показатель (дебет) — ее приросту.
